Our current stance
AnchorWellPress is currently offered in English. Several of our tools generate personalized health and coverage content using AI. Machine translation of personalized medical or insurance content — dosing instructions, appeal language, prior-authorization criteria, medication side-effect guidance — still introduces a real risk of clinical error.
Rather than ship a machine-translation widget that looks helpful but may mislead a patient at the moment that matters most, we’ve decided to be explicit about the limitation while we build a better solution.
What we’re working on
- A human-reviewed Spanish translation of core UI chrome — page labels, buttons, disclaimers — so the path through the site can be followed in Spanish even when AI-generated output remains in English.
- A Spanish-language summary of what each tool does, so a patient can decide whether to ask a bilingual helper to step through it with them.
- Ongoing evaluation of medical-grade translation providers for specific high-stakes outputs (appeal letters, medical-necessity letters) with clinician review.
We will expand language access when we can do it safely — not before.
Free interpreter services available today
- Hospital and clinic interpreters. Most U.S. hospitals and federally qualified health centers are required by law to provide free interpreter services in Spanish and many other languages during visits. Ask at check-in.
- Insurance plan language line. Most health insurance plans (Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, and commercial) offer free phone interpreters. The number is usually on the back of the member ID card.
- Your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). Free Medicare counseling is often available in Spanish and other languages.
